"sweet spot" of movie marketing, sandwiched between the also lucrative PG and R ratings. But, PG rated movies are decidedly pretty great too, representing the second largest segment of the five M.P.A.A. ratings. The two together, PG-13 and PG represent 90% of the all-time total domestic box office.
