Tornado Hunters

If you're looking for video and epic scenes of people chasing tornados, this is NOT the show for you. I'm sure these guys would have liked nothing more than to catch up with some killer storms but it didn't happen until the VERY LAST episode. Don't waste your time.

First off they never catch anything. secondly it seems like it's more about the characters and their computer screens than actually being face to face with a storm. The guy with the glasses is terribly arrogant, and most characters have no personality. I give it 2 stars because I need something in the background to fall asleep to. This is the most boring option.

Skip to the last episode for any good shots of Tornadoes. Watching any other episode will completely waste your precious time. Thank me later.

Of the multitude of chase teams with online followers and pursuing the 'money shots' - this crew is hands down the most sophomoric, annoying and downright uninteresting. There is no getting around that there is a lot of down time in the chase game and you are stuck with these guys calling each other 'dude', pranking each other and worst of all trying to talk 'seriously'. The 4th episode of the first season is as far as I could stand to go and that included much fast forwarding. When 'Greg' i believe it was talks about the 'dark' side of tornado chasing (the destruction and hurt people)his attempts to sound somber and concerned were - hilarious. 'Nuff said.

It seems like these guys film more of themselves and computer screen radar than any of the actual storms. And their last minute decisions to turn around and head to a "more severe storm" and then the original storm produces a tornado and they get nothing is annoying, I'm not sure they truly know what they're doing. They waste time, money and gas for a time lapse video of some clouds that I could easily do with my iPhone for 1/8 of the price....if you're tired and just need some background noise to fall asleep, this is the show for you.
