Eric Bana in The Dry (2020)

The Dry

Continuity

Scott's face is shown to be bloodied and bruised after he takes a beating from Grant. When Scott is next seen, in a scene that takes place no more than a few hours later, his face is unmarked.
When Aaron is having dinner with Sgt Raco & his wife both men are seen placing their wine glasses on the table before they're back in their hands & re-placed on the table.

Incorrectly regarded as goofs

When Raco and Aaron were questioning Jamie about his gun, he said that he and Luke were shooting rabbits in the canola (rapeseed). If there had been a drought for 324 days as stated at the start of the film, there would not have been any crop in the ground, particularly not canola which needs early rains to be a viable crop.

On one hand, he was lying about what he was doing. On the other hand, Gretchen had rabbits in her field of stubble.
During a wide angle shot of the main street, you can see to the right of the shot, a newsagent's sign of the 'Daily Telegraph' which is a New South Wales publication (and where the movie was physically shot) yet the movie is set in Victoria. The sign should have been 'The Herald Sun".

The Daily Telegraph is allowed to be sold in Victoria.
When Raco shows Aaron Luke's vehicle, he called it "Luke's car". The vehicle is a ute (utility) and are never referred to as "cars".

However, thousands of people in Australia still use the word "car" to refer to a car.

Revealing mistakes

If the police had looked at Luke's body, they would have found out that he had received two very severe blows in the back of his head and therefore would have been unable to run to the farm to kill his wife and son.

Miscellaneous

After tackling the burning man, Aaron is shown with various marks and bandages. His right ear is red from the flames, but his hair is completely untouched. It would have been severely singed.
When Scott offers Aaron a beer at his house, he brings them over 2 bottles of the American beer Budweiser. Although this beer is available in parts of Australia, it is incredibly unpopular, and being seen drinking Budweiser (or any American beer) in rural Australia would be a cultural faux-pas.

This is covered in Trivia.
While you certainly could shoot rabbits with a shotgun, it's normally done with a rifle, especially at the distance Gretchen is from the rabbit.

Anachronisms

Aaron left town when Ellie died in 1991. The year 2018 is seen in the school documents. But they keep telling the accident happened 20 years ago when it was almost 30 years. Also the phones and the Audi model are closer to 2020's decade.

Character error

When Ellie sings "Under the Milky Way", she says her mom sang that song to her when she was a child. The Church released the song in 1988 when Ellie would've been about 15 years old. She would be far too old to consider herself a child at that age.

Who is to say if a woman approaching 30 would consider her 15 year old self a child. Personal opinion: Do not include your own opinions. Correction: Ellie says her mother used to sing to her, not necessarily sing that specific song to her.
