- TriviaAccording to an opening title, the film was shot on location at «Forbidden Forest, Buckeye City, Ohio», but the cage was actually placed in a wood outside Bartlett, an unincorporated town of Ohio state.
- ErroresWhen Lindsey had to spit out Becca's "heart" back at her in her face, Becca lets out a quick "Ew" which can slightly be heard. This scene was perceived as the girls as one one the most funny yet grossest in the movie.
- Versiones alternativasThere are 3 versions of this video, each getting its own DVD release: Girlfight: inVite - 9 minute 30 sec; very basic title sequence, and extra features. Girlfight - 10 minute; title sequence enhanced. The film is a couple minutes longer on the DVD than the video download released by Amazon, because that company rejected an ad where Lindsey McComb dances on the cage promoting the pink hat merchandise for GIRLFIGHT.COM. Girlfight - Hardcore Edition Extended Cut. Replacing Jade's intro sequence, a missing fight scene (cancelled due to weather), pitting Jade (Brandi Michelle) against Selena (Brianna Culp) is added to Girlfight. Additional footage from Becca Chanay since this scene involves Selena morphing into Jacki. Briana Culp's name is added to the credits as well as throughout the title sequences. The an enhanced title sequence uses more of Sinister Raven's voice, voiced by Kelli R. Culbertson, over the creepy cage; this was a reason to pay her residuals should the film ever made a profit. Extras: two mixed fights directed by Kelcey Coe and biographies.

GirlFight: inVite (2016)
** (out of 4)
This short film came to my attention after its director Kelcey Coe made a few posts talking about how Amazon had banned the video from their streaming service. After viewing the film, it seems this was more of a way to draw attention to the film because content wise there's really nothing offensive here.
The story itself is pretty simple as this is FIGHT CLUB meets MORTAL KOMBAT with some ladies inside a ring where they fight to the death. None of the scenes are overly violent so I highly doubt Amazon pulled the movie because of this content. I'd say it was likely pulled because the majority of the running time isn't the film itself but a promotion for the film's website.
I'm not going to judge the promotional stuff because I really don't care about websites or things like that. It seems this short was made to show off what the director could do and to try and get funds for a bigger movie. As for this movie, it really just lasts a few minutes and features a couple fights and some gory effects. There's certainly nothing ground-breaking here but for the most part I thought it was okay for one of those short films that are made to try and get funding for a bigger project.
What's on display here wouldn't work in an extended form without some better more detailed characters but the exploitation market is full of wacky trash films so something could be done with it.
