Life-long BSC fan here, binged the entire 10 episodes on Netflix and I am proud to say I am satifised with how this show has turned out, the actors and actresses did wonderful jobs portraying the iconic characters that I know and love, I can't wait to see if there is going to be a Season 2!!

This caught me by surprise!! I am a 32 year old guy, but this show is so sweet! I am very aware that I am not the target demographic, but I am actually enjoying this show very much.

The storyline is interesting, yet believable. The kids have well defined personalities (and a great fashion sense!). And the storyline deals with so many different subjects - I must confess I tested up a bit with the transgender girl scene.

Of course, they might be a bit TOO talented with art, they might sound a bit too mature, but they still feel very real. I feel this show has a lot of potential!

I loved reading this series and I enjoyed watching the Netflix show. But there's one fact I cannot get around; this story was not meant to take place in the 21st century. 12 year olds who babysit may have been common in the 80s/90s, but these days, many parents do not even allow their 12 year olds to stay home by themselves, let alone take care of young children. Again I enjoyed watching this very much and I encourage anyone who has read the series to watch as well.

A highly grasping and emotional show with a retro aesthetic, proper representation. With great young talents and superb loyalty to the original, the show tackles heavy topics with ease and care. Standing out in a world where tween shows that are gritty like PEN15 and Never Have I Ever, This show reminds you of a time when everybody loved the Sprouse twins and The Best of Both Worlds played many times a day.

Definitely worth watching for a breezy fun coming of age adventure. Good humor too. And no unnecessary cringe elements or horrible writing like in Riverdale, Nancy Drew,Sabrina,etc.
