L'immortale

..way of telling the backstory of Ciro and all Gomorrah fans should be pleased with the usual series atmospheric feel to the film

It is better to watch this powerful italian crime film when following GOMORRA series too, and watch this film between season 4 and 5 of the TV show. But for those who are reluctant to watch a 58 episodes series, and there are many of them, then the film can be OK to be seen anyway. Italian film industry is over the top, better than average when it is question to produce films about gangs and mafia: Cosa Nostra, Ndrangheta Camorra, Sacra Corona, less known and located in Pouilles area. Mix up between falshbacks and present is OK, not complex to follow. I wait now to watch the fifth season of GOMORRA. And will comment it afterwards.

Maybe not a top-notch gradation from the beginning as we would like to see but fairly exceptional ending. Marco is as convincing as in the series.

If you loved watching gomorra, then this is a must for you. The story is fantastic from the start to finish. Avoid listening to negative reviews as this a pure masterpiece.

Italian cinema is just astonishing. The movie left me speechless because of how thrilling and compelling it is. Props to everyone who worked hard to make this movie the best it can get. I'm sure the Season 5 of Gomorra will also be as great as the rest of the seasons including this movie. Marco is extremely talented and I'm we're going to see a lot more of his work in the future. Solid 10/10.
