Buddy vs. Duff

I am disapointed in Buddy. I have been a big fan of Cake Boss and this show is really showing Buddys arrogant side. He is acting like a spoiled rotten child who doesnt think he should lose. I have never really watched Ace Of Cakes and dont know Duff well. But I think this competition will be turning a new leaf for me. I love Duffs heart and passion for his art. I can respect that. Buddy is just self absorbed. Im a cake artist too and I like to be modest about my work. If it sucks, I own up to it. I do like Ralph though!!! Keep up your good work Ralph! :)

I really like seeing Duff and Geoff .working together again. I just hate seeing Buddy with them. His big head gets in the way every time and makes the show unenjoyable. I think Duff's cakes are much more inventive and thoughtful. He is also a better sport. I want Duff to beat the pants off Buddy and wipe that self satisfied smile off his face. Very poor sportsmanship. He is so jealous of Duff's popularity it's sad.

Used to love Buddy and watch nearly every episode. Since his climb to fame he lost his humbleness and respect for his work and fellow bakers. When someone doesn't agree with him he throws a fit and has shown to be very unprofessional. The judging is a joke as each is only 1 point shy/higher than the other in every battle. Also, after Buddy's display of being a sore loser, it seems unfair (even though we as viewers cannot physically taste the food). Through watching, I have gained more respect for Duff and his skill and his eye to detail. He has also shown great sportsmanship and professionalism. Bigger is not always better.

Okay so here is my soap box! I'm okay with these guys getting all "I'm better then you" but this Judge is driving me crazy. First episode okay but I'm sorry it needed to be more then just one person judging why? Because the second episode after Buddy clearly got pissed about losing with the car cake. I think Sherry got pissed as well. Episode two listen to her down grade every I mean everything Buddy did. She said he only used one dough. I'm sorry Duff used only a cone same! Then she said he didn't make the chocolate hazelnut cream well Duff did not make from scratch his Dulce dacha Carmel I mean what the heck. It was peddy and I feel like we are watch a bies show and not two cake dudes duking it out! Where is the tasting of the cake? The response from those eating the cake? All of that says a lot about a cake tasting good or not. I really like both guys so I don't care who winds but I feel too frustrated to keep watching. Not fun! Not watching!
