Shotgun Wedding left us shaking our heads, in a good way.

It's a funny movie, in a violent, bizarre, challenged relationship kind of way. LOL

What starts out looking like a dream couple at a dream destination wedding turns into one of the biggest FUBARs I've seen since The Hangover.

Before the ceremony, the bride (Jennifer Lopez) melts down, the groom (Josh Duhamel) goes into panic mode, the wedding guests begin a frenzy of worry ... and that's all before the pirates show up to demand a ransom!

What follows is the most bizarre Die Hard kind of story you can't imagine. With the bride and groom stumbling all over the island and themselves and eliminating pirates one by one.

Hilarious.

This is no masterpiece of filmmaking but it is really fun to watch. It's okay that this movie isn't Oscar worthy. Some are just good romps.

The writing is good even though some jokes fall flat. The cinematography and editing and directing are top notch. And I absolutely needed to see so many older actresses with great comic timing: Sonia Braga, Jennifer Coolidge, D'arcy Carden.

There are plenty of great scenes and great pieces of dialogue and great performances so you can ignore the clunky, bad parts. This movie is definitely not a 10 but it's not a 5 either. 7 is my bottom rating for movies I think are watchable and fun. And this is one of those.

It was something I put on for fun and I Honestly really liked it. Cast was great and you can tell they were having fun with it as well. I chuckled at parts and it wasn't as corny as some other recent comedies, same formula obviously but definitely different and enjoyable.

I am always looking for a light funny movie to watch during my work from home days. And this didn't disappoint. Jennifer Coolidge will steal any screen she's on. Definitely not sure boyfriends would like but I would imagine this will soar at any girls night you have coming up!

Lots of real funny jokes peppered throughput the crazy movie story, def throw it on!

Starts off a little meh. It has a generic rom com feel (but with a great cast). But if you can make it past those first 20 minutes, it turns into a fun action comedy.

The Bride and Groom have to take out a band of pirates. And it's an amusing premise. A couple of standout moments were the kitchen & helicopter scenes. There is also a few good 'set up and pay off' scenarios that happened throughout the movie.

There was even a couple of interesting twists. I didn't see the first one coming, but I thought the 2nd one would be cool if it happened - and then it did haha... But it was still good to see it play out.

Overall, a satisfying watch. I'd give it a 6.5/10.

Jennifer Lopez absolutely stole the whole show along with Josh Duhamel. Both were pretty good with their roles. Though there were some flat jokes, it was pretty funny and entertaining.

I was looking for a light hearted action comedy, and I'm glad I got stumbled upon this even though it was flawed. Entertaining watch.
