Nice emotional movie with beautiful songs, acting and direction

Nice movie, story, camera work. Superb acting of Pran and Nargis. Evergreen ghazals of Madan mohan and lata di combo.

Story has many turning points. Movie is directed in commercial manner but written in artistic way. No hype.

Acting of Pran is watchable. Same is with Nargisji. Supporting staff has done nice work. Though they have short roles but the director has not compromised with the quality of starcast. Big names chosen for every role.

Camera work is beautiful. Such closeup shooting is finished these days as the actors and directors are busy showing tamasha and noisy pop songs.

Madan mohan's songs are evergreen as usual. Lata didi's magical performance is our heritage and she is icon in singing arena.

Lyrics arr very nicely penned by Rajendra krishan.

Overall a must watch movie.
