The Other Victim treats this neuralgic matter honestly, how it make damages in whole family as well, mainly in the helpless husband played by William Devane, when his mid aged wife Jennifer O'Neil was raped at own home by a maniac, the story delves in deep nightmare with several collateral effects where the another victim was the husband, entering in increasing process of rage mixing psychological disorder, including staying impotent henceforth.
Under this point his life becomes upside down, firstly his wife ashamed begs to him didn't involve the Police, aiming for keep it on privacy, such plea is accepted, however in a matter of two weeks the situation going out of control, at last the Police is request to investigate the crime, although the poor results, until appears a suspect whom barely matches with the wife's description, it should be the last hope to healed the wounds of the couple.
Apart the matter is dealing seriously, the movie as suppose to be was in slow pace, therefore the viewers have to be so patient to didn't turn off the TV, I'd watch it on far-off 1984 and never had an opportunity to re-watched it again, thus I have to appeal to Youtube where I found an average print, it somehow fulfills all my expectancy.
Thanks for reading.
