Scarlet Fantasy

One of thousands of porn features that decide story and characters are passe -it's cheaper to give mindless fans all-sex, perhaps with a pretence of being a movie.

Here we have imitation cinema verite, opening with Mike Horner in boring fashion taking us with him on a day of shooting a porn scene. His narration is literal, on the level of "here I am getting into my car...now I'm getting out of my car". He arrives at the studio, says hi to someone named Ron (I assume it's Ron Vogel, the famous photographer) then goes to makeup where Nina Hartley and Sunny McKay are prepping. They walk over to a bed and have a lesbian sex scene, joined by Horner later to make it a threesome.

His duty done, Horner leaves the little studio building and passes the narrator baton to Tom Byron. Premise is the porn stars acting out their fantasies, but the fantasies all play like a boring day at work as a porn star, namely having generic sex.

Byron gets a phone call from "PT", hence an in-joke on Vivid's big shot director Paul Thomas. Tom's fantasy is to have sex with Jennifer Stewart, and PT gives him the go-ahead. The actor walks over to a bed where Stewart happens to be waiting and they f*ck.

Cal Jammer is next, voicing over his fantasy of walking into a lingerie shop and humping the saleslady. Shop is a very crummy and fake looking set, and Cameo models lingerie for him and then they have sex.

Final yawner is the best, thanks to Paula Price, looking mahvelous indeed. Her real-life partner Eric Price voices the intro narration in such a bored fashion as to guarantee boring the viewer: he wants to go to a massage salon and have sex. Hardly a fantasy, we see him rubbed down on a bed in a room by Paula and she saves the show by glistening covered with oil as he services her. Those bouncy huge boobs are fantastic and bring a worthless Vivid release to an end.
