I Thought The Center For Alcohol Study At Yale Was Mory's

Teenage drinking has been a problem for a long time, is a problem currently, and will likely remain a problem for a long time. Just like other things that affect our brains and judgment. So this entry in Centron Films' series of discussions of group problems is a reasonable, even noble effort to present a bunch of reasonable but opposing viewpoints.

Whether it had any effect on the students who had to watch it in class, and then were called upon to offer their opinions on the subject..... well, I'm sure that of the probably tens of thousands of student who watched it, some number greater than zero gave it serious thought and came to some useful conclusion.

cheesy teen discussion

It's a Young America Films in association with the Center of Alcohol Studies at Yale University. This starts with a bunch of teenagers having a square party. There's a phone call. Teenagers Bob and Ted are suspected of drinking and driving. They hit a pedestrian. The kids at the party start having an argument about the subject matter.

It's all rather cheesy until one of kids start talking about his alcoholic father. That gets a little real including the fact that he's not going to stop drinking despite his father's problem. Nevertheless, the argument is very artificial and cheesy. At the end of it all, one kid asks the audience what it thinks about drinking.
