Mecha-Streisand

7.4/10 I recently started watching all of South Park in order, so I know I'm bound to find some mediocre episodes. This one was quite funny, but really just uncreative and only made to rip on Barbara Streisand. Not terrible, but definitely the weakest of Season 1.

Probably honestly genuinely my least favorite episode of season 1. It's not bad, it really isn't, it's just boring for me. Barbara Streisand in it sucks, she's annoying, they did that well. The rest of the episode is just okay for me. 7.2.

Trey Parker and Matt Stone have stated that they don't hate sincerely hate of the celebrities they make fun of, except Barbara Streisand. This is because she boycotted Colorado where they grew up. I feel kind of bad they feel that way because "What's Up, Doc?" is one of my favorite comedies of all time! Eh, I guess I can like both of them. Anyway, the episode's plot is that Barbara Streisand needs a magic triangle to turn her into a giant robot. It seems as though Butters does in fact talk in this episode.

He seems to laugh with the other characters at the beginning of the episode. The creators said that Pip stopped appearing because Butters worked better as a character everyone made fun of. I really have no idea why Leonard Maltin is another celebrity featured in this episode. He liked "What's Up, Doc?". I still miss how he discontinued his movie guide. The action is actually good too. ****

Mecha Striesand is a very funny episode of South Park.Cartman finds a triangle during a field trip and throws it away, Kyle then picks it up and gets all the credit for finding it but Cartman now wants it back.He always complains about how he found the triangle until Kyle gives it to him.Meanwhile Barbra Striesand comes to South Park looking for the triangle.She wants it so she can turn into Mecha Striesand(a metal godzilla like version of herself) and take over the world.Now Chef and Leonard Maltin must stop her.Leonard Maltin also gets Sidney Poitier and Robert Smith of the cure(who guest-stars in this episode) to help try and stop her.This is a really funny episode with some hilarious scenes! A great classic South park episode.
