Here's my theory about the Timekeepers: They're not trying to prevent the recreation of a multiverse; they're trying to keep their timeline isolated from the multiverse.
I think the rest of the multiverse is still out there, and the Timekeepers are trying to keep their timeline under the radar, and safe from the influence of the rest of the multiverse. But when a branch passes the redline, it becomes prominent enough to attract the attention of, or draw close enough to, other realities.
My theory is this explosion of branches will cause the rest of the Multiverse to finally take notice of this isolated strand of time, that we know as the MCU.

This has got to be one, if not my absolute favorite thing to come out of Marvel EVER. The music is on POINT. The action scenes are creative, and AWESOME. Each scene feels like it has weight with every piece of dialogue feeling important. The atmosphere and sense of intense unpredictability just captivates you in an everlasting mystery. Putting you on the edge of your seat like never before, absolutely makes you want to DIE in order to see the next episode. This is a magnificent and completely unexpected masterfully crafted experience that feels so fresh and organic for being released around such worse content lately. This is starting to rival other Marvel masterpieces such as Endgame and Infinity War. I have a great feeling about the rest of this show. You won't regret watching this magnificent episode ONE BIT.
This episode of Loki is very strong and well directed with easter eggs and foreshadowing. Unlike episode one alot happens in this episode and we spend alot of time in new locations. As the story develops we start to get an idea of what is going on. There is alot of talking but it is saved by the amazing acting. The episode ends on a massive cliffhanger and Kevin Fiege was telling the truth when he said this show was going to have a massive impact. There is a big character reveal at the end and people are already calling it a miscast but give it time.

- TriviaAt the end of the episode you can see several locations from the past of the MCU on the screen including Vormir, Xandar, and Ego among others.
- ErroresIn the Pompeii-scene, there is a Roman numeral visible on the wall: LXXIX, which is 79 in decimal notation. This may indicate the year 79 AD, in which the Vesuvius volcano erupted. However, counting the years was not in use at that time, as years were named after the ruling consul and were not numbered sequentially. It is far more likely that the number on the wall has a different purpose, possibly representing a house number. The fact that it happens to be the same number as the year of the event (according to modern time reckoning) could just be a coincidence, or a deliberate Easter egg placed by the filmmakers.
- Créditos curiososThe locker poster in the end credits has changed. The first episode had a blue colored poster with a man on it with the words "Always Watching". The second episode's poster is a different design & colors with the words "Less Meetings More Productivity"
