Stumbled upon this on TenPlay and thought it was excellent. Really funny dialogue and performances. Great jokes. Stephen Curry cements his reputation as a national treasure. Can't wait to see where it goes next.

I didn't think I'd enjoy this father in law monster show, but I totally have. Sure, it's a familiar set up, but the writing and acting is excellent.

This is one of the best Australian comedies in recent years. Beautiful writing, direction and acting. Perfectly illustrates the battle between the Gen X and millennial man. Highly recommended.

Look at the reviews. Only a couple that aren't a 1 or a 10. So you will either love it or hate it. Each to their own sense of humour

I watched this as it was sold as a young guy trying to impress his girlfriends father while they exist in the same time but from opposite worlds. the description that I just gave is what I think many would expect where the Father is used to things a certain way and normal but the world seems to have shifted at a 90 degree angle suddenly and things that were acceptable in everyday life suddenly are not. The young guy has entered his teens and adulthood in this new way of life and lives it well so there would be a clash and a funny one too. This show does non of that in any form. What it is trying to do is push an agenda that the Father is just mean and an impossible person just like all people who suddenly finding themselves not able to express their opinions like they used to as it will offend somebody. As I mentioned before it is an agenda, whether marxist who knows but there are no laughs in any manner. Give it a miss.
