Shershaah is a 2021 Indian biographical war drama film that chronicles the life of Captain Vikram Batra, a fearless officer of the Indian Army who made the ultimate sacrifice during the Kargil War of 1999. Directed by Vishnuvardhan and produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions in collaboration with Kaash Entertainment, the film features Sidharth Malhotra in a dual role as Vikram Batra and his twin brother Vishal Batra, and Kiara Advani as Dimple Cheema, Vikram's love interest.which means "Lion King" in Persian and Hindi. This codename became symbolic of his bravery and ferocity on the battlefield. So impactful was his presence that even enemy forces came to recognize and fear him by that name.
