Great production values , improved grahics and good narration. One of the best Space docs of the last few years. Carl Sagan is looking on warmly. Biggest Volcano in the Solar System, olympus mons, only because we have no idea what hides on Jupiter Saurn Neptune Uranus. More like this please ...But maybe its too expensive??

It is truly astonishing how the information given in the episodes takes me into a deep thought that makes me wonder with my eyes open. I really don't have words to describe how much I liked it.
I am grateful to have watched this.

The amount of information contained in this series is astounding, giving us a chastening insight into the origin of our Planet and the Solar System.
I felt fear, I felt tiny and I felt exhilaration, I felt humble and I felt great watching this series.
All these mixed feelings alternating through me as I was watching the episodes, transfixed.
Professor Cox narration is wonderful and I love the way his documentaries are presented: scientific subjects simplified and beautified by splicing natural scenes to scientific matters.

A spectacular show made for a world that has forgotten how to dream. The effects and music are masterfully interwoven. The narration perfectly succinct and elevated.
This show is made to leave you in awe. It all feels natural, not dramatised and out of context.
Next year should be about habitable exoplanets, binary star systems and planets caught in the firing range of supernova and neutron stars.

It is bold, it is ambitious, it is utterly spectacular but also, it is smart. I've heard explanations I'd never heard before about our Solar System. Frankly, I've never known (them) despite watching documentaries about space for decades. It gives you a unique perspective.
Also, Brian is a 15 out of 10 presenter, engaging and as simple as a friend.
All in all, it's going to be one of the best science series of the year.

- TriviaWhen the Venera probes first sent back their images from the surface of Venus, there was wide speculation that there was life on the planet due to irregularities in the images noted as "black flaps" and "scorpions". It wasn't until later confirmed that the anomalies in the images were simply artifacts due to image processing. The surface of Venus is essentially the temperature of the inside of a burning house.
- Versiones alternativasShown in the USA on PBS's "Nova" series, with narration of Brian Cox replaced by voice of Zachary Quinto.
