This show is just terrible. Like it's god awful. All it is are parodies and they aren't funny. None of the cast is funny at all. It's just terrible. Now yes, it's made for kids. But I'm pretty sure this is actually for everyone. And if all of your audience aren't liking it. There's a problem. I would go into this more. But I want to make a video on this.
As with all revivals, they always have to work extra hard to live up to the original. That's the simple truth. Nostalgia may play a factor, but the reality is that the original series featured many fully original sketches. Most of those sketches either launched successful spin-off shows or carriers for the actors.
In contrast, the 2019 revival lacks that original sketch content. Instead, they rely on trends and parodies of already existing shows and impersonations of real life people. Parodies are not bad things on their own. Well done parodies are hilarious. However, original writing is a must if this revival wants to survive past its first season. If this revival intends to rely only on parodies, it will struggle to last for a long run. This will be the case because these sketches are going to be time sensitive and fail to draw an audience after a very short period of time. The original relied on creating its own characters and situations that lends itself to a timeless feel. This new series is sadly only relying on trends. Since trends only last for a very short period of time, this is a situation of short term gain, long term loss. The new series won't be memorable and last long if the choice of sketch content doesn't change.
As for the new actors, I imagine that this is probably most of these kids first major shows to be working on. It's clear that they weren't very comfortable in their roles and positions. Hopefully, they will get more comfortable with time, but the initial acting was stiff and lacked believability and fluidity, both in opening sequence and in the actual sketches.

I'm so relieved, All That is back as a Revival Series with a New Season, and the New Kids of Comedy are very Funny and Attractive, just like the Old Casts. Especially Kel, Josh, Lori, and Kenan RETURN FROM ANOTHER WORLD!!!!
I loved every bit of it. Some people are gonna say they don't like it because it's not like the old one. Me personally it kinda is. It's close enough. The old cast is still on there. What older people have to realize is that it's not for us. It's for the younger people. They tried their best to make it look like the old one and they did a very good job. Can't wait to see more!
A lot of people will let their nostalgia get in the way of watching this: either they think it's bad because "nothing can compare to the original" or it reminds them of great times, so this must also be great. I didn't grow up during the times when the original "All That" aired, but I was old enough to watch the reruns. The reboot still catches the same charm and there's a lot of talent in these kids! A lot of them have great delivery, it doesn't feel awkward, and I find myself laughing to a lot of the sketches whenever it's on. I was really nervous at first because Hollywood has been harping on nostalgia and reboots this whole decade and the quality of these reboots vary extremely, so I was pleasantly surprised to enjoy this. Give it a chance, it's good!
