Aliya Basu Gayab Hai

This movie is scene by scene copy of 2009 Hollywood movie "The Disappearance of Alice Creed". That movie is thrilling and keeps you on edge of your seat. It has some of the fine twists I have scene in my life. This hindi version adds nothing original but copies every scene frame by frame. I insist viewer to see that movie and you will feel this version very mediocre.

I think if some original ideas should had been added to that story it may have worked out. But it just feels wooden acting by fine actors. This film will appeal to people who dont see Hollywood movies but to a Hollywood addict like me its quite bland.

I decided to watch this movie after seeing several 5-star reviews and recommendations on YouTube, expecting a hidden gem. Many have described it as an "underrated cinematic experience" that deserves more screens, but unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations.

The movie's pace is agonizingly slow, and it lacks any real suspense or intrigue. With only three characters and no supporting cast, the narrative quickly becomes monotonous. Although the actors deliver solid performances, their talents are squandered on a weak script that fails to engage.

While some may appreciate the minimalist approach, I found it lacking in depth and substance. Overall, I was left disappointed and wouldn't recommend this movie to others. It might appeal to a niche audience, but for me, it wasn't worth the time.

I watched this with my friends, movie named Aliya Basu Gayab Hai is a thrilling watch that effectively combines suspense and strong performances. Salim Diwan excels as Deepak, skillfully portraying a man with hidden agendas and a dark side. Vinay Pathak delivers a memorable performance as Vikram, whose naivety and eventual realization add emotional depth to the film. Raima Sen's role as Aliya is significant; she brings both strength and vulnerability to her character, making her predicament all the more compelling. The plot, involving the abduction of a rich man's daughter by ex-convicts, unfolds with plenty of twists, keeping viewers engaged throughout. The tension between Diwan and Pathak, coupled with Sen's convincing performance, makes the film a standout in the thriller genre. The movie's direction and pacing effectively build suspense, ensuring that the story remains gripping until the very end.

After long time i have seen movie like this , well directed and casting roles especially Mr Salim Diwan who have played his role nicely. Riya sen and Vinay Pathak.

The struggle of the girl and the actions and the stunts everything is going to keep you on the edge of your sits... Its a blast for me.

A wonderful job done by the cast of Aliya Basu -Riya sen. Very modern movie and it's concept, have seen twicely.song is also good Teri kya aukat.

A fantastic thriller, sometimes it's nail biting situation. After a long time seen such a good movie.

Acting of Mr Salim Diwan is Superb. Raima Sen is also very good and Vinay Pathak - as usual very good.

Direction of Ms Preeti is awesome.

Fantastic usage of camera and light, specially at time of song "Oye Sun Bey".

Over all a fantastic and must watch movie. Expecting more sush brilliant movies from Rehab Entertainment and RAPL.
