Some high school kids start dreaming of a scary burned man with knives on his gloves. And soon he starts killing them in their dreams. Fred Krueger is an iconic villain. Greatly done by Robert Englund. Here we are introduced to a new Freddy, this one plays with this girl, for too long, i was waiting for blood, but it´s all scares, and jump sequences, no gore. I may not find this movie scary, but has a tribute to a once perfect slasher villain, i´ll give this a 7. Because we can see here that they´ve tried to come up with something new and fresh, has some good ideas but...it could have been a lot better.

Dont´worry it´s just a dream, yeah sure, and the Freddy arrives from hell, and the killing starts again... That is how i was thinking but no, these guys did their homework and delivered us, a good short by keeping Freddy in the dark and more menacing than ever before, love this a lot, will recomended it to my friends.

The direction from Rui Constantino is great, with effective and dark atmosphere giving the film a sense of dread and energy. Great direction. The score is creepy and scary and fits with the film's dark tone. The special effects are good for a low budget movie like this.

Making this short film a must buy for every Freddy fan just like me.

Freddy returns from hell, It's power lies in the fact that sleep cannot be avoided, and the protagonist of the movie, travels to the foundry where evil Freddy lives. The boiler room is an especially unnerving set, complete with hissing pipes and dripping chains. Liked his new look, in my opinion this is a cool tribute, it has several scary moments, liked the creative way the director opted to put Freddy in the dark. Turning the moment he appears more raw and scary.

This movie is very different from all the previous sequels of a nightmare one elm street, Freddy isn't dead as he picks up his glove and takes up where he left off.

The only problem is that his powers are weak, he tries to do cat and mouse game with the girl, and it really worked here, using shadows and fear as an element trough the movie was very good, turning Freddy even more scarier.

Love this, and will buy the bluray once is out.
