Turn your brain off, suspend reality and you will enjoy this ridiculous movie. Just like its 3 predecessors, this is packed with jokes, romance and a bit of drama. Yes the stories are always far fetched but, for entertainment value, this movie is top notch.
Not literally, of course. But c'mon, these "Stalked by My Doctor" movies are pretty much the same as the "Sharknado" movies. By which I mean over-the-top acting, with absurd plots (even by Lifetime standards), to be taken tongue-in-cheek, not seriously.
Eric Roberts seems to enjoy himself as he chews the scenery as the evil doctor with the split personality. Everyone else tries to keep a straight face as they play their ridiculous and stereotypical roles. I doubt if the girl who played "Katie" will be using this in her portfolio to try to get other jobs, just as one example.
These movies are kind of fun, not to be taken seriously. Not that many Lifetime movies should be, but these least of all.
So, why 7 stars? Just because you can put your brain on hold for 2 hours and let the silliness distract you for a while.

I am not disappointed by this 4th sequel of Stalked by My Doctor. There is all in one: comedy, thriller, drama, mystery. There are all funny and interesting things I expected to see again: lie, revenge, love, justice, jokes, pranks. Fun to watch, and not boring even for a moment. Hope to see more sequels. Also liked psych ward reality, which from my experience looks exactly like in real life. Showing us how easy it is to mess with somebody's life or be in the wrong place or experience injustice. That part is similar to Unsane (2018) movie. Only did not like the ending which is a more negative than in previous 3 sequels for the main character doctor. There I expected mystery instead of typical arrest like in most movies.
I didn't care for this one. I loved the first three 'Stalked by my Doctors' but this one dropped the elements that I liked about the first three. He was more cold blooded in this version. In this one he pronounces, 'my name is Dr. Beck' before he kills someone as if he is a famous serial killer. In the first three you could see he was or could be a nice guy but driven to extreme behavior. He was also less clever and more brutish in this one.
I agree w/the reviewer who wondered why he ignored Emilie Ullerup who actually did like him and it was not a hallucination, couldn't believe she was 50, she was smokin.
Not bad by LFM standards. Just felt that this one misfired a bit. Don't like the direction they took it in but perhaps they felt they had to try something different w/his character.

Not as good as other installments of this series, but still better than many Hollywood blockbuster movies that play mind games and require intense concentration to try to follow the plot, which is often unfollowable. At least Lifetime is just laying out for you and it's pure entertainment as you sip your favorite beverage.
Eric Roberts is right on as usual in this role. I have one more show in this series to go and I'm looking forward to it!
ABOUT MY REVIEWS:
I do not include a synopsis of the film/show -- you can get that anywhere and that does not constitute a meaningful review -- but rather my thoughts and feelings on the film that hopefully will be informative to you in deciding whether to invest 90-180 minutes of your life on it.
My scale: 1-5 decreasing degrees of "terrible", with 5 being "mediocre" 6- OK. Generally held my interest OR had reasonable cast and/or cinematography, might watch it again 7 - Good. My default rating for a movie I liked enough to watch again, but didn't rise to the upper echelons 8- Very good. Would watch again and recommend to others 9- Outstanding. Would watch over and over; top 10% of my ratings 10 - A classic. (Less than 2% receive this rating). For Lifetime Movies for Chicks (LMFC), drop the above scale by 3 notches. A 6 is excellent and 7 almost unattainable.
