All over the show with the emotion curves, motivations, skill sets, etc
Burnham in the Trill mind zone conduction proceedings like she's got a clue what's going down in an incomprehensible set up.
The trill offended a human would pair with a symbiant while looking like a human with marker pen scribbled on their face.
The emotion curve looks like one of the writers drew it on a time line then shoe horned the action into it. "Oh we need an emotional peak here, in the middle of a scene that doesn't fit for that, no problem, let's get Burnham to drop a nonsensical bit of emoting, no one will notice".
Then the 21st century 'acknowledging we're damaged and hUrTinG' - pop psychology bit. Groan. Is this written by inexperienced, virtue signaling, entitled, emo, teenage hipsters, living in a good suburb but wishing they were street without having to actually rough up their lifestyle? All signs point to yes. All over the show.

I'm getting sick of this now, always Michael Burnham this Michael Burnham that every week, please writers for Season 4 do not make every ep about MB it getting boring and I end up doing the washing up when it's on, and I hate washing up!! We need more story arcs for other characters. This ep is just MB and a Kes/Voyager dark haired wannabe. It doesn't work, it's just tedious now please listen to the fans.
This episode shocked me,never thought I'd say anything to praise STD ,the show's getting better this season so far , but this one just rise the bar for future episodes.
This episode stinks. This show has really lost its edge. I loved the first two seasons. This one? I'm getting really annoyed with all the crying and CHEESE. It is DRIPPING with cheese. Uggghhhh
And just like that, I'm off this show.
I really enjoyed the stories up until this point even though the characters could seem to be a little forced at times. However, with this new character Adira and the God awful acting of the person playing it (actor, actress? I'm not sure of the proper word)... I found myself fast-forwarding through any of their scenes and only watching what took place on the ship which was also a train wreck of children fighting.
I looked at the story lines of upcoming episodes and it seems as though this new character is going to be pushed to the front so I'm heading out. I cannot take

Dr. Hugh Culber: So, we have 2 choices: I can start digging around your Hippocampus, hoping to find an answer...
Adira: Bad!
Dr. Hugh Culber: Bad. Or, we take you to Trill, if you and the captain agree.
