Found this on Prime and like most viewers, glanced at the Imdb rating before watching- I was quite surprised to see it had an average score of 9. However, just by skimming through the first 30 or so of the most recent reviews it seems like the vast majority, if not all, of them are fake... it's all very strange. So it seems likely the rating is fixed too.
That being said, I just watched this; quickly realised it's not at 9 calibre but was still intrigued by the unique concept. A little similar to The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, but in this instance the main character ages several years overnight, so that they travel through life in a matter of months.
I kept watching as I was wondering what the message was, but never really got it; the story touched on it but never really seemed to grasp it, itself. The acting and the filming was decent enough. The sound between the background music and dialogue was a bit strange; one kept being louder than the other, and they kept alternating throughout.
It gave off the vibe of a first project/student project, it was a decent enough attempt, but the plot just lacked any depth, and it failed to move me or make me think about life differently- if that's what the concept was aiming at. The dialogue also left a lot to be desired.
Intriguing for the concept but incomplete as a story.
