For people who hate masala movies, I guarantee that this movie will be an excruciating experience.

I assure you that you will yearn for something good to happen in the movie and you will be disappointed when you never find it.

The makers have taken the audience for granted under the assumption that we will accept anything they do.

I really don't understand how Sivakarthikeyan chose this movie after doing a fine movie like Doctor.

Overall :- People who hate masala movies and love sensible movies, please avoid watching this movie.

Eventhough SK & other actors did theirpart well, the movie second half is a drag , poor writing, predictable scenes. First half tries to cover up with some decent comedy. Your target audience is looking for fun with bit of surprises and sentiments - yes screenplay had those elements but was not presented well.

I think the director might have missed out his real talent in his college.

The director probably tried to sneak as much as comedy in this film which made it into a mess!

Everything was good enough to make family audience happy!

But there was a lot of illogical scenes in this movie! The student vs principal thing would never happen in reality!

The only good thing in this film is SK, Ani's Music and last 20 minutes!

The father sentiment worked really well!

Surprisingly , a well made entertainer . Emotion , Comedy , Romance , action , motivation everything was very well balanced . Story was pretty simple, it was inspired from the director's life ( Cibi )and he presented it well . Cat and mouse between SK and SJ Surya was really intresting . 1st half was completely filled entertaining elements plus few dose of cringe too . 2nd half was also entertaining and at same time motivating . Last 20mins emotional scenes really worked well . Eventhough Comedy was bit cringe it worked in most of the places . Performance wise SK , SJ Surya and Samuthirakani were show stealers , their characters were very well designed . Eventhough Priyanka had less screentime her characterisation was pretty impressive . Again Anirudh with his music just rocked it . 2hrs 43mins runtime was too long . Overall a well made entertainer . After some disappointing commercial movies in Kollywood, this movie is a well made one . I hope Don will satisfy audience in every aspects .

It's just an ordinary movie comedy works at some areas first half good entertainer like typical tamil cinema second half full of emotions. Nice acting and one time watchable. Emotions connected very well in last few minutes👍🏻
