I loved seeing the old characters, it really felt like no time had passed at all when they were on screen, and they played very well off of each other, but the plot was atrocious. Strange gets hit by the mcu stupid beam to cast an incredibly dangerous spell with zero thought put into it. The action sequences were cool, but dont entirely distract from how half baked this storyline is. Peter here has already learned the responsibility lesson and is midway through trying to do the right thing when for some reason we hear the great power quote again? Save for one halfway through none of the villains had ties to our peter so it was hard to be invested in their fights, and there were just a lot of characters shoved in without much development since they had already learned their lessons in their own films.
