The Dark Pictures: Little Hope

In my honest opinion, Little Hope is better than Man of Medan and until dawn. There is so much depth to this story, and the pacing is brilliant in making sure you are constantly empathising with the confusion and fear the characters feel. The range of setting, and history and ACCENT ACCURACY!! (Brilliant Yorkshire accents) I very seldom feel so invested in every timeline of a story that jumps back and forth. This game will leave you constantly trying to figure it out, so you're right where the game wants you. The witch trials storyline is both unnerving and opinion dividing as you truly feel left to your own devices, and totally in control of the outcome.

Worth the time and money, there's a very powerful ending, giving space to much conversation and debate afterwards.

I think Little Hope is okay. The story is really good and better than Man of Medan, but the game has some flaws. I think the story feels a bit slower than Man of Medan, the QTE's are way too easy, easier than Man of Medan and Until Dawn, and it's easier to keep everyone alive towards the end. The ending however was a bit shocking and a little disappointing, and some jumpscares are repetitive and predictable.

Overall, the game looks good and the game does an okay job at jumpscares.

The second game in the dark pictures anthology named little hope is a very creepy game that made me jump out of my chair and had me scared to my heart little hope does a great job building tension and atmosphere the Gameplay has improved over man of medan and the performances have improved massively the characters were likeable and had good chemistry together and the jumpscares were very affecting the curator also improved over the last game he had more to do and I liked him more than i originally did however its ending was disappointing and had me confused over then that little hope was fun and exciting.

Man of medan and Untill dawn were great games, but this one hit home. It seems like the developers took what experience they had from the two former games and made the best of it. Excellent and clever writing, especially with two players experiencing the game from 2 different perspectives. Second playthrough was just as interesting as the first, with very different outcomes and relationships between the characters. I quite liked the mystery revolving the past and the present, and the game never got boring. It was scary enough, a 6/10 on the Heebie Jeebies - scale, but it is the story and atmosphere that carries the game. It's rare, but i the ending was both interesting and dissapointing at the same time. Although I encountered a few minor bugs , the game played like a breeze.

Better than Until Dawn imo. The story is fantastic and the ending made me think. This game is tense and mysterious and intriguing. Gameplay, Until Dawn excels, but story wise this one takes the medal.
