Kabaddi Kabaddi Kabaddi

Not only is the naivety of the protagonist depicted falesely ( his obvious lust and talentless, idle nature) but nothing at the second part of the film is remotely realistic of Nepali life and culture. Nepali people should be ashamed of calling it realistic, especially city people with their false conceptions. It is entertaining however, although the dialogues are redundant. This trend of using a beautiful heroine ( And beautiful she is) as the sole life of film, and the idiotic wag-tail chase by the decorated hero must stop. There is no other way around. More subtle stories must be told. We must, as a population, get over lusty tales and buffonery. But, of course, we must applaud Daya Hang Rai's acting and, at times, beautiful cinematography.

This was the most awaited yet disappointing sequal. Random plot. Lost touch with the natural comedy, simplicity and innocence of the franchise. Desperate push for 4th movie..

Kabaddi was one of a kind also one of my best Nepali movie of all time. When i heard they were making a sequal of it i was most excited to see kaji and the team again on screen. Sequal was not that superb it was not as expected but more than okay. When the third installment of the movie arrived i was excited but it was way more disappointing than it ever should be. The movie should never have been made with such a story. While watching the movie it felt like i was on the directionless boat. The movie just killed its own legacy. The movie is like chewing gum which is already chewed. I am giving those few stars just for the background music and few mindblowing landcape.

This is one of the best movie.the plot is nice and screenplay mindblowing.

Rambabu gurung comes up with this 3rd installment showcasing trauma of dayahang rai where he continue to be unlucky with his lady love. The most intriguing part of this movie i would say is karizmatic photography which never fails to capture the beautiful landscape of Nepal and ofcourse beautiful upasana Singh thakuri who I would like to crown as reigning queen of catwood along with diva samraghyi shah. N ofcourse there is dayahang karma Shakya and Wilson rai who all plays their part so well along with fantastic supporting cast. There is not much to say about story but screenplay keep us hooked with the proceedings. Despite serving the same old wine packaged in New bottle ram babu gurung tale of love never left us shallow and bored, which means he gets his heart right with the story telling. It also tells the impact of parents on young children, how their troubled relationship and ego can affect their happiness. This is also story of one's search for true love. It's also about friendship and its also about our social values. All beautifully woven together is this movie named kabaddi kabaddi kabaddi. I m going with 7 star, I would like to give more such is beauty of story telling performance and appeal of our village life and Nepalese values and culture. But we expect more from stalwarts like dayahang and Rambabu gurung, also we need to be more creative and innovative with script and story telling. We can't remain stocked in the name of nepaliness and all. We need to be more global with our approach and appeal with time and if doesn't come up with stalwarts like these from who else we can't expect. At last I m still in awe with the display of innocence that I see in upasina singh thakuri, the monumental the beautiful landscapes of mustang and ghandruk and the sheer beauty from where Rambabu gurung has portrayed depiction of love. We may have lost our innocence with time but seeing these movies i am convinced we have not yet given up our search for true love. It's just out and my wait has already started for next installment of this series...
