Türkler Geliyor: Adaletin Kilici

In this movie the christians are not unconditionally angelic. In this movie the Turks are not animals or barbarians. In this movie the muslims are fighting against evil. In this movie the Serbian king is depicted as an evil person. If these FACTS will bother you, then don't even consider watching this movie. This is not a documentary, and hence it won't be historically 100% accurate. There will be fiction added, like any other movie. If these will give you a headache then don't watch this movie.

But, for everybody else, this is a great action movie.

The producer of this film was marketing this film like it was going to be the best thing to happen in Turkish Cinema. It was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. I don't believe their budget was what they claimed. It was a very cheap production with cheap actors. Just as the other reviews said. A bad imitation of a Hollywood production. Next time hire some professionals with talent. The CGI butterly was AWFUL. Would have been better to leave it out. The story line was slow and predictable. The lead actor Emre Kivilicim was difficult to watch. The only thing he did well were these fighting scenes but everytime he defeated someone his expressions were painful to watch. The best actor in this awful film was Ogun Kapatanoglu. They should have cast him as the lead actor.

This is meant to be a Turkish history movie. The actings were very bad, scenerio was awful, if you aren't a kid, I mean Mehmet Bozdag has a great popularizm and influence but he chosed this movie to become a propaganda tool. Take these movies seriously. Because of these films there are no Turkish history movie tradition or casting. In our history movies there is either a bad guy or a good guy. This is so irrational. This looks like it is cheap American Hollywood movie but with cheaper production. They can save the day with CGI. WE DON'T HAVE ENOUGH BUDGET so please have more Labor on the movie scripts.

They claim to have spent a huge budget on production but the cheap CGI and costumes were a huge disappointment.

The actors? Who are these lead actors? The main character Sungur is a horrible actor. Why did they choose a nobody for this role? Do you know how painful it is to watch bad acting for 2 hours. Everytime this Sungur character was to show emporium it was horribly exaggerated. His crying scenes, when he was using his "sword of justice", when he was giving his speech to the other raiders everytime this face was terrible. Why didn't this producer choose someone with real acting skills?

The girl played by ECE. Where do we start. Another nobody actor. Bad acting skills to match her "costar". Their scenes together didn't move me one moment.

This film maybe could have been saved with actors who have actual acting skills. Instead of these no names with no skills. There is nothing worse than watching a film with bad acting.

Next time spend less money on this production and pay some real actors to star in your film. I can see how only 500,000 people saw this film. I couldn't recommend it to be seen by anyone.

I really can't understand how they thought to present Turks as defenders who are at the same time invading several countries and killing/enslaving local population.

Historical characters from the middle of 13th and the end of 14th century are placed in the same era. Queen was never kidnapped.

If you want to watch it for the plot and decent production go ahead, but this is propaganda disguised as a romanticized history. Characters are very shallow and are presented as good or maniacally evil.
