The Twisted Nanny

The story builds up until 12 minutes before the end, than finishes rushed like a child who doesnt want to continue with his or her homework. It's annoying, bad, terrible. The story isn't great and doesn't follow up on things that happen in the movie. The acting is sadly unworthy for tv. The story is about a nanny yet the makers obviously never took the time to see how those companies work. Social service in the movie and the police are a joke too.

Look, yes the movie is absolutely not good in any real way, shape, or form, but then what DO you expect from The Asylum?

The dialogue is atrocious, Annika Foster (the nanny) and Andi Wagner (the mother's boss) couldn't act their way out of a wet paper bag, the story is ridiculous - especially the behaviour of the cops, the therapist, and the Child Services worker, and the behaviour of the kids flips far too easily back and forth. That last, though, is no fault of the child actors and is entirely on the writers and director.

Really, the only bright spot in this movie, for me, was Tara Erickson as the mother, Julia. While she turns in a far from groundbreaking performance, she still acts circles around the rest of the cast and does admirably with what she's given to work with.

Hey, it's Lifetime. You know what you came here for! Lol As far as writing and overall story, it's pretty predictable. But the execution is super solid; it's beautifully shot and edited, and the two leads are awesome! Julia (Tara Erickson) delivers a convincing and emotional performance and Nanny (Annika Foster) was believably creepy. They made some solid lemonade out of a pretty lemon script!

Who sides with "The Nanny" so quickly and the nanny gets the house and custody no questions asked. I hate this show. The.co worker character especially. It made me want to stop watching it.

Terrible movie. Whoever wrote this needs to rethink their career.
