The impression of the title and released poster of this drama first caught my attention. Aside from Jang Hyuk's casting, investigative series is quite fun to watch. So I had high hope that this would give me rides of hurly-burly.
Well, this drama is not at best of my expectation, however, it never lets me go. You can expect layers of villains that hold grip the viewers to satisfy their curiosity. The dark vibes, the brutality, and gruesomeness of the killing method are linked to the thrilling elements. I say, I enjoyed the first episode to eight, quite emotional and intense, but after that, I feel like it started going downhill.
The story is heavy, but it seemed something was missing. I find some repeated scenes like running out of steam, and some storytelling needlessly convoluted. Character's development of the main two leads is reliable, while some are just plainly flat and overdone. Acting-wise is good, but not that superb. The plot twist doesn't surprise me since my guess was right.
Is this drama worth watching? of course, I'm just telling it's still entertaining.

You will get hooked from the start as this is a followup of the major incident 5 years ago. The pacing seems a bit hastened but the you won't lose any interest as the plot is littered with reveals which you don't expect. It is on par with Signal. The lead is perfect the supporting cast does a really good job. The antagonist doesn't seem upto mark with buildup he has but he manages.
The setting is somber, dark, sometimes really dark and is really good, it does a good job of hooking you up , you won't mind some cliches which pop up in middle. The chemistry is OK but you won't be looking at that between the lead. The lead actor steal every scene he is in and he never disappoints some of the other members may. What I am surprised is why this show has not gained enough traction as some others have. I saw two episodes of The VOICE and I stopped watching it because of the screenplay but this series has doesn't suffer that.
You won't regret watching this series because you won't feel the time pass. Most of the episodes cross the 1 hr mark but are still worth it. There is some minor hiccup in the middle but you won't mind as it passes. This is the best thriller series from Korea that I have watched.
" Tell me what you saw " had its flaws, but, overall, it was solid.
The drama had some interesting cases to present. Especially the first ones were pretty emotional and intense. The main case was also unexpected and had a nice mystery. The characters, as well, were explored in-depth and had strong personalities. The performances were perfect, as expected, but especially the leading lady was a delight. Finally, the atmosphere of the drama was perfect, with enough gore and action to keep things interesting, and a dark mood that feated the story well.
However, the drama had some problems with the execution and the plot. The main plot line was useless after the first episodes and there were some idiotic plot twists that didn't make sense and didn't suit the drama.
But, overall, it was enjoyable, so seven out of ten.

Jang Hyuk is a brilliant actor and one of my favorites. The rest of the cast was also good, writing was until last episodes, and the series worked well for me until the last few episodes when there was so much violence it felt way over the top. Then there were repeated scenes like they were running out of steam. And, seriously, a cop who holds a gun on a really bad guy repeatedly yet never pulls the trigger. At any rate, mostly a good series with the too-frequent series issues of not being able to remain great until the end.
It's about a series of police investigations with an overriding story about a not very believable serial killer. His behavior is too inconsistent to be believed. He's been dormant for five years but reappears for no good reason. The series is not well written but it is photographed and edited to be compelling. It's a very stark and dark viewing experience and sometimes it is grotesque. There are quite a few strangulations. The plot doesn't always make any more sense than the serial killer does. The investigators seem to pluck clues out of thin air, for example, and then have to explain those clues to each other and to us. This vortex of a series got so bizarre that it sucked me in for fun. Award winning actor Jang Hyuk plays an eccentric loner who makes dubious (to me) pronouncements about criminal minds. His character and two fine actresses playing his lady associates helped to keep me watching although I kept being tempted to stop. 7 stars.
