The Lustful Wife

Adapted from a 2008 novel by Selena Kitt titled "Bluebeard's Wife", this Kay Brandt feature epitomizes the house brand of Adult Cinema for couples associated with Adam & Eve since the '90s.

It's told from a woman's point-of-view, as Penny Pax, happily married to Ryan Driller (the George Brent of porn, so often playing the husband to strong women like India Summer, Reena Sky and Jessica Drake). Her best friend Bridgette B famously holds lingerie parties (for brides to be and others) and sells lingerie and sex toys. She convinces Penny that she should expand her sex life, and PP entertains the idea of satisfying her husband's erotic fantasies.

It's presented in a pleasant, always upbeat mood, with Brandt emphasizing the central couple to a great extent rather than succumbing to the modern trend of variety and extraneous sex scenes for their own sake. BB often steals center stage, but Pax remains an empathetic heroine who has starred in one of the most successful crossover porn movies in recent years, Jacky St. James' "The Submission of Emma Marx".
