The Covenant

I have read The Bible cover to cover numerous times & because of the difficult language sometimes it can be hard to actually envision what it's actually saying &/ find it difficult to be able to visualize the time period & what the stories, characters & situations would have actually looked like... while I wouldn't consider this a blockbuster hit movie in the way we define great movies, they did a GREAT job of breaking down stories, the characters, & the time period in which the stories of The Bible are told to help the viewer &/ reader get a better understanding. Again, while I personally don't find this an actual drama, adventure or action packed movie, it is a great narration with depiction of the stories in the first 5 chapters of the Bible. Because of the easiness which the story is told & able to understand is the reason I would give this movie a 7-8 star rating & would encourage those that want to understand the Bible a bit better to give it a chance & watch because in comparison to the Bible they nailed almost verbatim the actual Bible.
