The Skunk-Ape was conceived years before it was filmed and the original script included the Skunk-Ape with an appearance by Bigfoot. The very weekend it was to be filmed, COVID hit and shut down virtually everything. Given more time with the script the Sasquatch, Yeti, Song Ting, the Abominable Snow Woman, and the Virginia Woodbooger were added.
