It was decent episode, better than the previous one. Didn't like his singing at the end.

Whoever wrote the first review with a 2 star is completely lost. Go ahead and catch up on Caitlin Doughty, the "voice" of death. Her point of view is very valuable to grieving death and even provides historical events on how people dealt with death. Duncan/Clancy also gives his own account of his mother and father passing away and has an amazing message of how to cope with such hard times. I recommend this episode and the last for the after life seekers.

Honestly this one is kinda preachy, death is hard to deal with. The voice death worked at a crematorium at age 22, kinda biased. I've had many close friends and family deaths in my life only at 26. I think everyone deserves a choice and that includes family, every situation is different. To make light of loved ones grief in the north/south during one of the deadliest wars in american history. Have some empathy, imagine tell someone you shouldn't get a chance to see their loved ones for one last time before they bury them. They might want to know their loved ones weren't thrown into an unmarked mass grave. Sorry but this was not a good episode.

Lots of symbology from the Tarot in this episode. Makes you wonder if you're meant to be deeply looking for hidden And esoteric meanings in the visuals. I noticed the Fool, devil, death, the sun, judgment, the emperor ... were the whole Major Arcana hiding in there? Is there a deep meaning to this or is it just because Death is a Tarot card so they thought it'd be "cool".

I found the conversation about death to be an interesting one. Death as an industry and the separation of people from primal reality.

For me it suffers from the same problem as the whole series. I find it hard to pay attention to the talk & the disconnected visuals at the same time. Why does the animation have to be so rushed & chaotic? I feel like the show would be much better if they slowed things down in a way that you could actually absorb and digest the imagery being presented.
