If you are a regular DTFH listener then it would be a cardinal sin to miss this show. This is why we Trussel so hard. The finale (Mouse of Silver) is actually the very best episode. I cried.

I started watching this show at the recommendation of a friend who said it was super trippy, funny, & thought-provoking after he watched the first few episodes. I thought it was weird at first, but I quickly realized how brilliant of an idea it is to juxtapose such heavy topics with surreal & whimsical animation. By the time I got to the final episode, I actually had to choke back tears & could not look away. The most beautiful & touching 30-minutes in TV history, in my opinion.
And im almost never crying, nor from reality, and not from movies. But this episode... im still recovering. The best animated episode of all time, easily. You will show this episode to your children, and they'll show it to their children
I didn't really see it coming... this whole series is great, but this episode. This episode. I haven't cried like that in years. In the best way possible. I needed this and so do you. Just unbelievable.
I was at the very height of a trip when I saw this episode. I was BLOWN AWAY. This is by far one of the best works of art I have seen in a long time and I felt it on every level. What a deeply touching way to honor his mother, who was clearly an amazing woman, and I'm so grateful to have been permitted to view/listen to it. Like, holy wow, man, so beautiful and true! It broke my heart open, and kind of melted me into a thousand little pieces. It overachieved, and was spectacular. I honestly would love a second season, but how do you follow up after something so all encompassing as episode 8?!
