Caillou's New Adventures

Digusting show to a disgusting franchise!!! Horrible

Gonna keep things straight here. Who asked for a reboot of such a hated series? I certainly didn't. I will admit Caillou lost his "brattiness" later on in the original series, but man those early seasons were almost intolerable. Moving on to the reboot. First things first, it's bland, like really bland. It's just your average dribble for toddlers in the late 2010s. Not to say there isn't any good 2010's preschool shows, no, and finally, man this animation is awful. It's obvious it was made in flash. ToonBoom? Whatever, at least it improved those terrible cloudy backgrounds. 5/10. It's not bad?

News flash. Just because something has a hated characters name on it doesn't mean it's bad. I am not ashamed to say this is a guilty pleasure show of mine. Of course, it's not as good as SpongeBob or Ed, Edd n Eddy or Animaniacs or Regular Show on ANY accounts. But this is still a really good show. The animation is nice. The voice acting is actually a huge step up from the original. Rosie is so freaking adorable. Like oh my GOD she's so cute. And they updated all the designs of the characters while not being too different from the original. And I can't lie, there are some scenes that just make me laugh and bring a smile to my face. Sometimes, when I'm bored, I just watch this show. Yes, I, a 16 year old, willing watches and a shoe made for babies. Oh, and to address the elephant in the room, Caillou is no longer a brat, his parents are no longer pushovers and he's no longer annoying. They fixed EVERYTHING that was wrong with the old show. How many reboots can say they're better than the original. I'm just saying, actually watch the show before saying it's garbage.

If you're one of the only people who watched the show and still disliked it...well, agree to disagree and I respect your opinion.

As a fan of the origional series I was interested to see how a reboot would be haneled. Unfortionately the show fails to recapture the hear and soul of the origional. Many people say Caillou was winy an a bad influence for the children, but they are wrong. The Caillou in this series is a bland, one-dimentional child, the animation also is of poor quality and the voice acting is rather irritating.

I think it's good because Caillou doesn't even throw tantrums anymore. He is more better than is past self, not throwing anymore tantrums, being nice and yea. Sometimes Caillou acts like a Gary Stu but it doesn't matter. MODERN CAILLOU ROCKS!!!
