I really like the main actor Daniel Clark. He has always been really good and recently realized he did something new in the form of this short. It was simple and minimalist and didn't disappoint.
The tone of the movie was muted and grey and very little props. But the attention to detail was still somehow spot on. Few distractions made it so you could really focus on the actors expressions and emotions which was pretty cool. Floating head in a book ofc is bad but here in film version it came off as artsy and stylistic. I could feel what the actors were feeling especially the demoralization and frustration of David.
I really liked the ending because there was this refreshing turn of events where the storyline gave us hope. It also made me hope Daniel Clark does more in the future just like David. He's super talented and I like his dimples.
Loved it 9/10.
Ok that's it.
