Being Pretty

There is a short series of these bizarro little films from Autodale, the dystopian future town that I'm thankful I won't be around to see, as it seems we are headed that way with all the plastic surgery and narcissists' on Instagram who tweak their image so much, they don't even look like that in real life despite all their plastic surgery and make-up. I know who the REAL MONSTERS are in this story, DO YOU??? :O. Very thought provoking and disturbing little series of short films. Watch them ALL.

Another episode in the Autodale series, this installment explores the unsettling question of who is considered "pretty" and who is deemed "ugly." Autodale presents a dystopian future ruled by robotic overlords, where humanity is permitted to exist-only if they meet the regime's standards of beauty.

But the definition of "pretty" isn't always clear. In short, anyone who differs in any way from society's rigid norms is labeled "ugly"-and must be eliminated. The "pretty" citizens are expected to serve their overlords without question: they don't complain, they work hard, and they function as obedient, productive members of a system that allows no room for individuality or dissent.
