Coffee Talk

This isn't normally my sort of game but the story was utterly compelling perfectly timed and not what I expected at all. Not to short or long I throughly enjoyed every second. The gameplay is a little basic and repetitive but by not being to long it just about gets away with this.

Hmmmm..... I did like this game. As others have said it's kind of repetitive, I enjoy the characters and the stories that came with them. I just wish it was either longer or you got to actually make choices in the game. Right now you just follow the story line and you don't have a choice, most of the achievements you get just from playing.

Also I think it should go over the placement of the ingredients. Like obviously there's a specific way to go about the drinks but even if you have the right ingredients in the wrong order the drink is considered 'wrong'.

If you're looking for a random cute game to just waste some time, this is it, fair warning though it's A LOT OF READING.

There are only two downsides to this game. 1 - the game is very short, only by the end of the game you are already fully imbued with the atmosphere of a night cafe and communicating with visitors, and the game is already over. 2 - Whether you prepare the right drink affects the development of the plot, but there is no way to find out recipes for new drinks, except for tips before the start of a new day that are often repeated and can show the same thing that you do not need on a given day. In general, this is a very enjoyable, short visual novel with slightly non-linear gameplay that can be completed in one evening. There is not much gameplay, it is organically inserted into the game and it does not bother, but most of the recipes have to be taken from the Internet.

For me this was enjoyable. I enjoyed the story characters little stories and the wolrd around it. However, as a video game this fell so very short for me.

I believe it to be more of a visual novel than a fully fledged game and that's fine. I assume that is what they where going for with this title. One thing i would have liked to have seen was maybe choices that effect the end of the story with multiple endings or such but that is my only real wish. The coffee making part is fine but very simple. I however like this fact.

Do not play this if you are wanting a full gsme with in depth machanics or to be honest just simple ones. This is a visual novel through and through.

The story wasn't anything breathtaking but it was absolutely fine and was a almost perfect length where i didn't felt was fast but i also wasn't super bored.

The calming and warm nature of the games art-style and music is a nice cozy little enviroment to read the novel in and the rain sound is a nice little touch.

Overall, a fine visual novel with a cool atmosphere but no better than average.

Reting this as a visual novel and not a video game i give coffee talk a 4/10.
