Pound of Flesh and Still Kickin'

Following the Mexican expedition last time, the story is set in the Ozarks progressing all of the main plot strands. A routine episode, but marching forward toward the finale and building the pressure on the Byrdes.

Nor does it need to be. Let shows stand on their own, for God's sake. If any character has a freak out moment, that doesn't mean it's a direct copy of Walter White. That's the same reasoning that would argue, "Oh this character cheats on their spouse!!?! That's a Sopranos copy!!!?!?".

Two different characters. Two different places in their development. Two different motives and rationals. Two different results for their acts.

Good finale scene, very well done. Best moment in the show in a LONG time (since S2)

Rear of the episode was alright. A LOT better than most of the interactions presented throughout S4. Plus the addition of Rachael worked well albeit slightly forced but I enjoy the early callbacks; takes me back to the show's Golden Age.

We're getting somewhere with the pressure finally making Marty stand up to...many things🤠 I'm also glad this Ben-thing (seems to) be over with John-Boy Walton seeking some alone time after telling Wendy her main personality flaw.

One of the weirdest episodes of Ozark, don't know what is the point of it. It is not related to the main story and very very boring.

Disappointing season really.

Boring episode with an ending that doesn't save it. The writers are trying too hard to make Marty "break bad" and he's just no Walter White. The show was fun for a bit, but I'm over it.
