The cast is great; like many K-Dramas you get to know and like the characters. Ara Go is adorable, especially if you like round-faced girls with spectacular smiles. However, the ending(s) spoiled the show in retrospect.
It appears to me the show had an ending, which violated the pact between the watchers up to episode 15 and the makers of the series. Maybe they focus-grouped it, because once committed to that very disappointing ending, they then tacked on a new ending which made absolutely no sense in the context of the presentation of the rest of the episode. It was clumsy, irrational, unrealistic, and dishonest. My wife, however, liked that they changed the ending.

This was the 2nd K-drama series that I watched and I absolutely loved it right up to 1/2 way through the last episode. I don't understand the ending. It felt like an exec lost a bet and and had to go with the worst ending option on the table.
Nevertheless, the cast had fantastic acting skills, especially Jae-Wook Lee and Go Ara. I was hysterically crying and then having those happy memorable moments constantly as the story developed. Such a great intricate storyline that kept you engaged with trying to put all the pieces together. Just when you thought you had it all figured out, they would throw you a curveball and you had to start over from scratch.
Great series overall and I would highly recommend it. I just wish they would redo the ending in order to maintain the integrity of the characters' depth and actors' talents. To be honest, it felt like the actors couldn't believe the ending themselves.
This show was definitely a mixed bag. I feel like the writers sort of wanted to "stick it" to the viewers by making this show "unpredictable," which it certainly was, but not necessarily in a good way. Some of the choices of the characters and the story line definitely felt a little disjointed, and I think it was because of this reason. The first 10 episodes of this show were fantastic, with a really great cast of likeable characters, a lovely soundtrack, great acting by actors who could actually play the instruments, and an engaging story. I think Jun's "secret" sort of felt hyped up but ended up being not too terrible, and then there was a definite lull in the show before picking up for the last two episodes. I feel like the writers should have stuck with the original ending and had the guts to leave things the way the viewer thought they were going without throwing a last minute change in at the end.
That being said, I do think it's worth a watch. The piano playing scenes are gorgeous and full of poignant meaning, and most of the story is well done. Were there some things I disliked? Yes, but the show is still good enough and deserves a watch. I give it a 7.5 because the good definitely outweighs the bad!

In general it was good, the music, the actors, Ra ra was so sweet and beautiful.
But the final was so so, without sense.
Literally lovely to watch but I have to say that of all the KDramas I've watched, I felt really let down at the end of this one. It was a beautiful musical path up to the halfway through episode 16. I would love a reworking of the rest!!
It'll be the first drama that I won't spend weeks missing. Sad actually because I loved it up to that point.
