The Godfather Buck

Everything about this movie is horrible. When shooting at the bear the scope caps weren't even open. The quality whenever they show an animal is obviously fake. They have no knowledge of hunting. When they check the cameras the backdrop is 2 different places and doesn't even look like a video taken from a trail camera. They use the same bridge seen multiple times. Movie is more about 2 dudes arguing than hunting. I seriously do not understand how the producers can watch this movie and then proceed to produce it. Every minute of this movie is horrible. They talk to much about politics. When they show the "Godfather Buck" it changes to a different animal each time. I would rather watch an hour and 30 minutes of ads than this bs.

This is a tough subject to take on.

At time the verbal female bashing is hard to watch but this a tool to see how overboard the character will go to prove to everyone, But most of all himself, that he is a true Man. At the end it make sense.

Could it have been toned down? Maybe, but you wouldn't get the same emotion.

Hard subjects done in a realistic way. When you are victimized you may do things to try and capture the feelings of control, things you regret.

The story is beautifully written and executed. When the hidden secret comes out you find out that a rippling effect has occurred. This is how it is in real life. One incident can carry through to others.

The images and emotions in this story seems very really and the chemistry between the actor ring true.

Two brother meet each year in a cabin in the woods. This time their father has passed away. The brother deal with emotions from the past and family secrets. They are joined this year by their half brother who is coming to term with emotion of his own. Which in turns brings forward the secrets from the past and the guilt and the forgiveness.

Sometimes hard to watch with the toxic masculinity taught to them by an overbearing father on what a man is supposed to be.

The cinematography is great and has a beautiful look to it. The movie was shot on a lower budget that looks like a high budget Film .
