A Picture Perfect Wedding

The type of movie that I enjoy. Sweet, and not much drama, just enough to keep it interesting. No back stabbing, no second guessing, just a clean and family friendly film. Enjoyed it a lot.

Considering the genre, you have to enjoy it for what it is.

Unfortunately it becomes very clear but not very fast that this movie was made at a time when human contact was limited.

So what follows re numerous awkward interacions between several characters.

Clearly there was some urgency to get this film out post hast but it's a real shame hat the producers didn't just sequester everyone so they coul at least speak naturally to each other.

Despite that though, there are a lot moment where you find yourself smiling about.

Also, there are some small twists from the cliche which will pleasantly surprise you.

I'd say still worth the watch - perhaps ignore that the actors are most likely wearing their own clothes.

This movie could have been a fun, cute film to watch. It ended up being painful to watch. The actors were stiff, and no one ever touched each other except the main couple at the end. Even the wedding couple never touched each other until they did a photo of them holding hands once but even after that they never touched.

The so-called villain, The wedding planner, seem to soften up a little bit but you really didn't care if she got nice or not. The movie was boring by the time she did and as of here you didn't really care.

The only beautiful part of the movie was the house where they filmed the wedding. The photography and gardens were beautiful.

I'm not really big on weddings / wedding movies, but this one had a few good twists. Despite the extra hurdles of the pandemic, this show is beautifully produced in all aspects. No matter what the setbacks, amazing things can always happen, so hang on in there. If you like to watch at the portrayed time of year, this story is set around August 12, as the Perseid Meteor Shower briefly features. I actually fell asleep watching it the 1 st time and had to rerun it to watch. I felt the writer went down a list of necessary plot lines for writing romance movies and checked them off as he/she wrote. Nothing was remotely romantic nor enjoyable to watch, especially the lack of chemistry between the two leads. For me, the male lead came across as immature and his facial contortions during some scenes overpowered the dialogue. This really could have been an enjoyable movie with an interesting premise with a more experienced writer, director & cast. Most of this one was just silly. I did enjoy the location & house where filmed .
