This Movie had so much potential. I thought this was a Mexican film but the two main protagonists were a young married American couple going to Mexico to write a book and make a cheap video/film. This comedy had some good cinematography however the acting or the writing was what was wrong with this movie. The actors were good enough and the plot but it needed to be rewritten before production or must have been low budget as the actors seemed like they were hired the week of shooting. I guess this was intentional as the husband paid locals to be in his movie and ends up calling the attention of the local boss or Jefe. The ending was too long and with better plot development could have saved the ending. The book sequences were kinda amateurish and did not enhance the narrative.
