The Gang F***s Up Abbott Elementary

Abbot Elementary episodes were overall disappointing to me. The episode in Abbot's run was significantly better than the It's Always Sunny one. I thought it was gonna be an episode of Abbot in the style of Sunny but it was just a TV-MA version of Abbot. Kinda disappointing 🤷‍♂️ some good/funny moments but a 6/10 overall. It would have been so much better to get a It's Always Sunny episode with Abbot characters but oh well 🤷‍♂️ There were some genuinely funny moments in here but the entire episode didn't gel together that well. I also have never liked the principle in abbot elementary and she's basically the main character here.

I know people are excited for the show being back, but this was a zero-laugh experience. To be fair, I've never seen Abbott Elementary, and maybe that show is just so bad that it was bound to turn out the way it did. Maybe if you like Abbott Elementary already you'll like it, but as far as I can tell... they really have a different set of watchers. Aside from 'Philadelphia', these two shows should have never crossed over. I can see Abbott Elementary wanting to do a crossover, as Always Sunny is a bigger, more established show... but there was no need for it to go both ways. 2 stars for trying I guess... 1 for humor.

I'm a big fan of both shows and I thought it was great. You do have to know the Abbott universe to get it so I can't understand why people who don't didn't like it. The storyline was kinda weird and it had been a while since I've seen the Abbott side of the episode so maybe that's why but it was still enjoyable. Not at all the worst episode of IASIP.

Just watched the first episode-really fun seeing all of them together! The best part is, at least these guys made Abbott Elementary watchable again. I used to like that show, but I couldn't even finish the last season-I left it halfway. Still, I like the characters, and this whole crossover idea was great.

At first, I wasn't sure I'd enjoy it after seeing the promo, and honestly, I still feel they could've made it a 40-minute episode or even two episodes with that setup. I thought the Abbott janitor and Charlie might team up, or maybe Mac and Jacob-but you'll have to watch to see if that actually happened.

One of the gang members (maybe Dee) made a joke about Black people and head lice, and I had to look it up-shockingly, it was true.

Overall, a decently entertaining, casual watch.

This wasn't a good episode. Not a very engaging plot and not very funny. Turned it off after seeing the first half.

I didn't know the other show, but after reading some other reviews in appears to be a crossover episode of some sorts. Might be better to pick a show that's on their level of humor.

The format of the office didn't really work in the favor of the gang as well. Better just stick to the old format.

This is actually the first episode I didn't finish from start to finish. To me it was just very boring and a bit cringe sometimes. But hey, maybe I missed out on a great second half. Guess I never know.
