STEVEN UNIVERSE FUTURE (2019-2020) was a cute and colorful animated cartoon show, about friendship and family. It takes an overused, generic story (intergalactic heroes are called to fight and save earth) and makes it unique and original, quirky and random.
"The series focuses on the aftermath of the events of Steven Universe, where humans and Gems coexist in harmony after the end of the war between the Crystal Gems and Homeworld."
Overall, the colorful animation is cute and aesthetic, random and humorous. The characters are quirky and likable. Definitely not what I had been expecting. Certainly worth the watch.

I don't think I've ever written a review to anything before, and I don't even think I'll do so, but I want to let my thoughts out, a little bit.
I'm your average 16-year-old, you know, the ones that have identity issues, having a crisis trying to find their place in life. Now that I write it down, it does sound weird, but all this has been putting a toll on me. I've never been good at processing my thoughts or my emotions.
This show encapsulated everything I've been going through lately. I don't think I've ever baby cried like this to anything before. I loved the other seasons, but this was something that I needed. Being afraid of showing a part of yourself that you are too afraid of others seeing is really tough. Guess it's time to think.

Steven Universe Future is a cartoon series created by Rebecca Sugar and produced by Cartoon Network Studios. The animation of the show was actually stunning, and when I watched the whole sixth season, it gave me chills. Steven seems to be smarter than Rick Sanchez from "Rick and Morty," and the plot of this show is actually stunning, as if it were ahead of its time. The show is so well-written that it's almost divine-100 out of 10 stars!
This is a follow up to our favorite show that deals with heavier themes. If you are looking for light, look elsewhere.
Steven is a little older and like many of us, has had time to reflect on his childhood. The traumatic events he's endured has taken a physical and emotional toll (as they often do) on him and he doesn't know how to handle it.
This is a very relatable second chapter that has the same charm and story driven characters that we love from the first edition.
Anyone who has struggled with PTSD, depression/anxiety or anything mental health related will find a comforting story here.
Bonus for new music with an entire soundtrack! Rebecca Sugar does it again.

I thought perhaps this would not be needed, we had a resolution already. But I think this added a lot. It wrapped it up and put everyone on a path. Steven has to get through some stuff yet.
Beautiful music, animation, writing and stuff like the original show. I loved all the cameos from the first show.
You should definitely watch this after you've seen the other show and the movie.
Great for anyone of any age. I loved every second. I wanted more but at the same time I felt it was sufficient. They don't need more. I might go start over with the original show from episode one now.
I think a spin off show about Lars and his crew could be interesting if they wanted to do more.
