A good light comedy to watch. Many from Kerala will relate to this common problem of narrow pathways which will be a challenge when there is an emergency and the plot about is about some families doesn't have a wide road for vehicles to pass incase of any emergencies. All the cast did a sweat well job in acting and delivered well especially Kunchacko Boban is getting better day by day. The passing of the trains is too frequent and could have been curtailed. Malayalam movies has come a long way. Shooting at actual locations and using the common language makes the movie stand out. I'd recommend.
Kunchacko Boban breaks his ideal 'good guy' mould in Bheemante Vazhi, a simplistic yet hard-hitting comedy about a stubborn man hell bent on constructing a road through his congested neighborhood.
A womanizing playboy who is not averse to using Machiavellian methods to get his way, Boban also doesnt shy away from 'bold' (at least in Malayalam cinema standards) sequences to convey the multiple shades of his character.
Director Ashraf Hamza weaves the same magic he created with the smash hit 'Thamasha' in 2019, giving us a handful of eccentric, well-written characters with mannerisms and backstories we would find in our own neighbourhoods.
The realism and authenticity with which the characters behave is never compromised and yet writer-actor Chemban Vinod Jose delivers bellyfulls of laughter, especially in a ROFLMAO final sequence that is sure to leave you in splits.
Vincy Aloshious delivers her second impactful performance on the trot after her terrific effort in Kanakam Kaamini Kalaham. Naseer Sankranthy and Binu Pappu are terrific in their supporting roles, delivering some of the best situational comedy I have enjoyed in recent years.
As has become a hallmark of Ashraf Hamza movies, the women characters are exceptionally well-written and cast with Divya M Nair the standout as the vivacious neighbourhood councilor alongside Thamasha's heroine Chinnu Chandini.
But the true breakout star of the film is Jinu Joseph, who astounds as the bungling antagonist 'Kosthep', giving Jaffer Idukki (Kanakam Kaamini Kalaham) a run for his money for the Best Comedy performance of 2021. He delivers his career best performance, in an altogether different shade than the suave, executive-type characters we have seen him portray.
Bheemante Vazhi takes it lead actors into zones that don't fall into their comfort zones in terms of character archetypes and therein lies its success. There is something profound about the simplicity of it all that is (dare-I-say-it?) Pothen-esque!
Highly recommended!

Small script but good making.lots of funny things. Every cast done their part smoothly. Kunjacko boban character is little bit different from his previous movies. The main thing a negative shade character in that i don't remember his name but his acting was so good.overall we can enjoy without any lag.
Simple, easy movie with many small unpredictable incidents. Original theme. Plenty of good humor. Emotions and grey shades blend into the humor nicely.
Impressive direction in terms of establishing the community and it's geography.
Camera work stood out.
Chemban Vinod has nicely played himself down for a movie from his production house. It is easy to relate Chemban as the script writer for the movie.
For a story telling that plays down on emotions explicitly, when it is time for the emotions to surface up, they do so surprisingly easily.
This is also a movie of characterizations and performances. Majority of the character artists have done excellent work. Kunchacko has done his part as the main protagonist endearingly as well.
The movie is not perfect. There are some loose ends. But it is really well done for the fresh original path that it has tried.

The movie is funny of its kind. The theme is fresh and strange and offers some thrill too. However, it would have been nice if the writer offered some clarity towards the climax and other parts of the story. Felt like there is a deliberate attempt to induce an image-break for the chocolate hero, which might not be pleasing for everyone. Not bad and not great, just a 'OK' movie.
