The stories here should be side bars, the kind of things that will not affect the time history of our modern jedi/sith struggle. But here we are, during the rebel era, an extreme powerful pair of twins very strong with the force, doing all sorts of the things Palpatine would be envious of. Does not work.
I can't see myself giving this episode a higher score. I mean the animation was cool, but this episode was filled with over the top exposition, no action, and just about every Star Wars quote known. All of which, took me out of it. I actually found myself pausing to see how much time was left.
I just wanted to say for visuals, interesting ideas, the inversion of the original Star Wars plot its a decent episode and fun enough but I want to list three things:
1) The creators of this episode are playing around with a debunked theory that Lightsabers are extensions of force users proficiency in the force, so that gives a person the ability to throw their lightsaber energy around
2) Another kooky theory the writers are employing is that some Star Destroyers are so gigantic that they can have a gravitational pull and sustain some sort of atmosphere and therefore be warm and breathable in some way
3) This is "Japanese Star Wars" if you will so they aren't necessarily bound to our versions canon
If you go by these conceits, its an easier episode to swallow.

Yes, the walking around in space was distracting for me but at least there was a scene where a droid needed a helmet when in space. They acknowledged what they were doing.
I watched the English version and Alison Brie (an actor I usually very much enjoy) dialed it up to 11 with most of her lines. She seemed like a parody of a villain. The brother (Neil Patrick Harris) was fine but his motivation was sketchy at best.
The designs here were appealing and in most cases very fitting for Star Wars. Too bad the story and execution didn't match.

- TriviaFor the sound effect of Am's lightsabers held by several mechanical arms, sound designer David W. Collins combined those of General Grievous' multiple lightsabers with that of Kylo Ren's unstable blade.
- ErroresKarre and Am have no problem breathing in outer space, yet the protocol droid B2ON does wear a space helmet in one scene.
