Man they just did whatever with this one huh. I mean its fine, but I bet it'd be better than fine with a few edibles.
Yes, the walking around in space was distracting for me but at least there was a scene where a droid needed a helmet when in space. They acknowledged what they were doing.
I watched the English version and Alison Brie (an actor I usually very much enjoy) dialed it up to 11 with most of her lines. She seemed like a parody of a villain. The brother (Neil Patrick Harris) was fine but his motivation was sketchy at best.
The designs here were appealing and in most cases very fitting for Star Wars. Too bad the story and execution didn't match.

Wow! These episodes are absolutely hilarious. This one in particular had my wife, son, and myself cracking up. The anime over-explaining, with more talking than action. Spitting and fitting every classic Star Wars line as possible. No spacesuits in space for the humans but the droid had one!
This was a real knee-slapping side-splitter. Definitely worth a watch for the laughs!

The stories here should be side bars, the kind of things that will not affect the time history of our modern jedi/sith struggle. But here we are, during the rebel era, an extreme powerful pair of twins very strong with the force, doing all sorts of the things Palpatine would be envious of. Does not work.
The third episode of "Star Wars Visions" is a wild and fantastical short, where the rules of physics are scarified for visual splendour.
A pair of twins, Karre (Neil Patrick Harris) and Am (Alison Brie) are born of the dark side of the force and trained to lead the imperial army. With an unstoppable weapon in their hands, a powerful laser canon between their Gemini Class Star Destroyers, victory seems inevitable. However, Karre steals the canon's power source, setting the twins at odd and beginning a violent battle between them.
Were you to look through my reviews, I think you'd get a sense that I tend to favour story above all else. So it would be a little disingenuous of me to speak highly of the rather muddled narrative of this one, just because it has one really odd, but really cool visual in the midst of it's last few minutes. It really does though!
I didn't rub up against the vocal performances, as some have, and I found it to be visually OK. Nothing like as strong as "The Duel" but artier than "Tatooine Rhapsody". Again, I feel like some of my fellow reviewers have missed entirely the concept of this series, and that it's not taking place in any established timeline.
That said. It's hard to be too appreciative of fine moments, if they come in service of a weak story and I'm afraid that this feels like that to me.

- TriviaFor the sound effect of Am's lightsabers held by several mechanical arms, sound designer David W. Collins combined those of General Grievous' multiple lightsabers with that of Kylo Ren's unstable blade.
- ErroresKarre and Am have no problem breathing in outer space, yet the protocol droid B2ON does wear a space helmet in one scene.
