Imagine you're testing you're brand new speakers with something like Dolby sounds test, well this episode will do also. I don't know why episode is even in the series, it suits something like Conga Wars.
+1 point for tense drums.
+1 point for relaxing drums.
+1 point for confused, discouraged, embarrassed drums.
+1 point for an excellent musical ending. UuuuOoaAa UuuuOoaAa.

4 stars for this episode. I wasn't a fan of the style or animation at all for this one and found myself being bored throughout. Characters didn't engage me then towards the end we find the episode going down a familiar path of a Jedi turning to the dark side. The soundtrack was awful. Didn't even feel or sound like Star Wars whilst watching.
"Star Wars Visions" saves one of its better episodes for last with an interesting adaptation of a one of the saga's key moments.
Tsubaki (Henry Golding) arrives back on his home planet, looking to reunite with Princess Misa (Jamie Chung). Tsubaki though is plagued by an affliction, that strikes at times of stress and which causes him to fall to the floor wracked in pain. Rescued from assailants by Misa, Kamahachi (Keone Young) and Senshuu (George Takei) the four plan to journey to the Princesses palace and face down Masago (Lorraine Toussaint) a Sith Lady who has infiltrated the palace and taken control.
This was one of the better stories of the series and the artwork matched it. It's not difficult to see where the story might be heading from an early stage though, of course, they might have switched the ending around for a different outcome. There are nods to "Hidden Fortress" with Kamahachi and Senshuu acting like the original inspirations for R2D2 and C-3PO.
This was the only episode of the series to directly tackle an element of the films head on and I'm glad that more of them didn't choose to go down this route. I would also say, that perhaps this is one of the episodes that suffers from coming after other editions with similar types of characters.
Overall, like most anthology series, Visions has been a mixed bag. Some, like "The Ninth Jedi" and "The Duel" I've really enjoyed whilst others, like "Lop and Ocho" and "The Twins" I've felt less positively about. As an experiment though, overall, I think it's been a worthwhile one and I'd be interested in seeing some of these stories expanded to either a feature length or into a series proper.

Much better story of a fallen Jedi than the prequels. Way more believable than the terrible prequels for a Jedi turn Sith.

Tsubaki: Misa, do they really need to be here?
Kamahachi: [scoffs] 'Scuse me?
Tsubaki: From what I can tell, you can't seem to fight.
Kamahachi: I see. Jedi judge by appearances, do they? Heh. If you must know, we're not strong fighters.
[chuckles]
Senshuu: Heh. We can't even fend off wild tooka-cats!
[both laugh]
